How Star Bridge handles information when you use the app, connect to a service provider, or contact us.

Who we are and what this policy covers

Zenwalk LLC provides Star Bridge and operates this support website. This policy covers our handling of information through the app, our website and support correspondence. Contact abuse@myddls.com for privacy questions or requests. You can read this website without creating an account.

Star Bridge is a VPN client. The provider identified by your site code supplies your account, subscription and nodes. Where Zenwalk LLC operates the service you use, this policy also covers our service records. An independently operated provider is responsible for its own account, billing and node records under its own privacy policy; using Star Bridge does not make that provider part of Zenwalk LLC. Check the provider and node you select before connecting.

Information processed and why

Account and authentication: Your login email, password and site code are used to authenticate with your chosen provider. Account identifiers, session tokens, plan status, expiry and quota information let the app obtain authorized configurations and display your service status. The app stores its saved session in the Apple Keychain; a saved session contains authorization information rather than your login password.
Device registration: An installation identifier, device name, operating-system platform and app version may be sent to a compatible provider for device binding, device limits, configuration delivery and troubleshooting.
Connection and usage: The service processes source IP addresses, connection state and upload/download totals to establish connections, account for usage, apply plan and device limits, and investigate service or security problems.
Network traffic and DNS: When the VPN is connected, traffic selected by your routing settings passes through the selected node. The node processes traffic and destination information to forward it. DNS requests are handled by the resolver specified by your configuration. Direct or excluded traffic may bypass the node. Your provider, node operator, DNS resolver and destination service can be different organizations.
Local preferences and diagnostics: Settings, installation identifiers and configuration information are used on your device to operate the app. Connection errors can appear in system diagnostics and may contain host or network information. Treat diagnostic exports as potentially sensitive and review them before sharing.
Support correspondence: If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you send. We use them to answer your request, investigate the issue and maintain the associated correspondence. Do not send passwords, verification codes, subscription URLs, access tokens, private keys or full node configurations.

Purpose limits and other services

Our policy is to use information obtained through Star Bridge only to provide and secure the service, support users, administer accounts and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not permit the sale of VPN data, its use for advertising or profiling unrelated to the service, or its disclosure to advertisers or data brokers.

Providing a connection necessarily involves the account provider, selected node and DNS service described above. Website hosting and email delivery also involve infrastructure providers. A request to a third-party website or service is governed by that service’s own practices. This policy is not a promise of anonymity, zero server logs or an absence of data processing by those services.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, processing depends on the activity: providing a service you request, legitimate interests in security and support, your consent where required, or compliance with legal obligations. You can ask us which basis applies to a particular use of your information.

This support website

The website serves static help pages. Its code does not set cookies, use browser storage, embed advertising or analytics scripts, or include a form that uploads your information. Email links open your email application; a message is sent only when you choose to send it.

Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website. It processes request information, such as your IP address, requested URL and browser/network metadata, to deliver and protect the service. Operational request logging and tracing are enabled with sampling; query strings are excluded from those logs and traces. This does not mean that Cloudflare collects no data. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its privacy information.

Retention and deletion

There is no single retention period for every kind of record. Retention decisions depend on the purpose of the record, whether the account or request remains active, security and dispute-resolution needs, and applicable legal obligations:

On your device: the saved app session remains until it is cleared, including by signing out. Signing out does not reset the installation identifier or all preferences. System diagnostics and device backups are also subject to Apple’s controls and your device settings.
Account, device and usage records: the relevant operator retains records for account administration, quota accounting, security and any applicable legal or accounting requirements. For an independently operated service, ask that provider about its retention periods.
Support messages: correspondence may be retained to handle the request and related follow-ups, disputes or legal requirements. You can request deletion of information held by Zenwalk LLC.
Hosting records and backups: service-provider log retention and backup lifecycles may differ from live records. A deletion request does not necessarily remove every backup immediately; ask us for the scope of deletion and any retained records relevant to your request.

When handling a deletion request, we assess which records can be erased and whether any must be retained. Our response will explain material restrictions or exceptions. Disconnecting the VPN, removing its profile or uninstalling the app does not automatically erase server-side records, close a provider account or cancel a paid plan.

Your choices and rights

You can disconnect the VPN, sign out, change supported routing and DNS settings, and remove the system VPN profile. Refusing required account or connection information may prevent the service from working.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information, receive a portable copy, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent for consent-based processing, or complain to a data-protection authority. To exercise rights concerning information held by Zenwalk LLC, follow the data-request instructions or email abuse@myddls.com. We may need proportionate verification to protect your account and will handle requests in accordance with applicable law. For records controlled by an independent provider, contact that provider too.

Security and international processing

The app uses Apple Keychain storage for saved sessions and HTTPS for provider account requests. VPN transport protection depends on the selected node and configuration; no network or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your device and credentials secure and use providers you trust.

Your selected provider, node, DNS service, website hosting or email service may process information outside your country. Their location and applicable safeguards depend on the services involved. Contact us about international processing of information held by Zenwalk LLC before sending sensitive information.

Children’s privacy

Star Bridge is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Zenwalk LLC, contact abuse@myddls.com so we can review the situation and any required removal.

Changes and contact

We will publish changes here with an updated effective date and provide any additional notice required by applicable law. Privacy questions, complaints and requests can be sent to abuse@myddls.com.
